When Jerry Wolman recently kicked off his book tour in his hometown of Shenandoah, a number of dignitaries representing federal, state, county, local government, and sports organizations were on hand to make presentations to him during a high school assembly. The following took part in the assembly; Shenandoah Valley Superintendent, and past president of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Dr. Stanley Rakowsky, State Senator David Argall, Shenandoah Borough Councilman Andrew Szczgylak, State Representative Neal Goodman, U.S. Representative Tim Holden, Jim Caulfield, President of the Jerry Wolman, Northern Anthracite Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, County Commissioners Francis McAndrew and Mantura Gallagher, and Jack Wabby, PIAA Treasurer and District XI Chairman. They all shared their appreciation for such a grateful and kind Jerry Wolman.
